Sükûnet

Terms of Use

Last updated: 16 July 2026

1. What is Sükûnet?

Sükûnet is a privacy-first, mostly offline mobile app that offers worship-helper features such as prayer times, qibla direction, missed-prayer tracking, dhikr, zakat, khatm and the like. Its purpose is to help make religious practice easier; it is not a religious authority or a body that issues religious rulings (fatwa).

2. Provision of the service ("as is")

The app is provided "as is" and "as available". No express or implied warranty is given that it will operate uninterrupted or error-free. We may update the app, add or remove features, or discontinue it at any time.

3. Religious content and accuracy

The religious content in the app is for informational purposes. Prayer times, qibla direction, calculations and texts may contain a margin of error depending on location, calculation method or differences between sources. In situations that require a definitive religious ruling, you are advised to consult qualified sources and a religious scholar.

The content is prepared in good faith and with a religious-consultation framework in mind; nevertheless, the ultimate responsibility rests with the user's own research and consultation.

4. Community rules

You are expected to be respectful when using community features such as khatm circles and the dedication/prayer board. The following are prohibited:

We reserve the right to remove rule-breaking content, hide a post, or restrict/block access.

5. Subscription and donation

If an in-app subscription or donation/support option is offered, these transactions take place through the App Store / Google Play. Pricing, renewal and refund terms are subject to the rules of the relevant platform; we do not see or store your payment details. You can manage or cancel your subscription from your device's app store account.

6. Intellectual property

The app's name, design, software and original content belong to their rights holders and may not be copied or distributed without permission. Public religious texts belong to their respective sources.

7. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by applicable law, we cannot be held liable for indirect damages arising from the use or inability to use the app. The decision to use the app and the related worship practices are the user's own responsibility.

8. Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is published on this page; the "Last updated" date above shows the effective date. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
